Carolyn White describes her work as coming from a direct experience of landscape. It is …. "a distillation of mood through colour and immediate observation."
Carolyn works in oil, watercolour and pastel, sometimes journeying to wild and remote places to make her paintings which are usually completed ‘in situ’ at the location of her inspiration.
Her work has grown in strength and has achieved a simplicity of form and colour. She enjoys consistent success from regular solo and group shows throughout the country and is in demand for commissions.
Carolyn White has produced work in the Himalayas, Egypt, Africa and the Caribbean and in various landscapes in Britain. "II have travelled widely and have worked in many other countries than those represented here. Please contact me for details of my painting expeditions and exhibitions"
